About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Software Engineer with 2+ years of hands-on experience in software development, cloud technologies, and modern development practices.
The ideal candidate should have practical experience developing and deploying scalable applications using AWS services, working with APIs and databases, and implementing basic CI/CD workflows.
We are particularly interested in developers who are enthusiastic about leveraging AI-powered development tools to improve productivity, accelerate development, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance software applications.
- Develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Work with AWS cloud services for application deployment, infrastructure management, and monitoring.
- Manage and troubleshoot cloud-hosted applications, databases, and related services.
- Implement and maintain basic CI/CD pipelines.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Google Antigravity, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent technologies.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for performance, security, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Follow best practices for clean code, Git, documentation, testing, and code reviews.
Required Qualifications
Software Development
- Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or another suitable programming language.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, backend architecture, and software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with Git and collaborative workflows.
AWS
Hands-on AWS experience, including familiarity with:
- Amazon EC2.
- Amazon API Gateway.
- Amazon RDS or DynamoDB.
- Amazon CloudWatch.
- IAM roles, permissions, and cloud security.
- Cloud application deployment and troubleshooting.
CI/CD and DevOps
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts.
- Experience or familiarity with build and deployment pipelines.
- Git-based development and release workflows.
AI-Assisted Development
- Understanding of practical AI-assisted development.
- Familiarity with Cursor, Google Antigravity, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent tools.
- Ability to use AI for coding, debugging, refactoring, testing, and automation.
- Ability to critically review, validate, and securely handle AI-generated code.
The candidate does not need experience with every named AI tool.
Good to Have
- AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, or serverless architecture.
- Docker and containerization.
- Infrastructure automation.
- Generative AI, LLMs, or AI API integrations.
